“I love color and I love beautiful paper.”
Collaborating with master printers over the years has given me a very practical knowledge and understanding of printmaking, and that has equipped me with the ability to conceptualize and execute my vision to a specific application to realize that vision. I am just as interested in the poetic distinction of the work as I am the visual graphics and so I look to modify the expressive nature of a given work,through altering color fields, sometimes combining several techniques.
Pushing the desired results I’m looking for even further, I find great satisfaction in varying the nuance of its power and depth by transforming individual prints by hand, sometimes with enamels or inclusions of 22K gold or silver leaf, producing beautifully bold and unique variations, truly one of a kind pieces.
